Very Rarevintage Lego System Samsonite Townplan 725Very rare. Leog system samsonite. Town-plan 725. Fyi i have spent alot of time on line, and have checked all ebay lego auctions, (active and closed) and found not one of these sets. I went world wide, and did find one brand new 725 set on eaby vietnam. But for some reason the seller was told by ebay to pull it, and it was taken off before it ever sold. The bidding was up to $150.00 (+/-) when that happened. My parents brought this lego set back from europe for my little brother back in the mid 1960's. Lego's was not yet being sold in the usa. (or atleast that is what i am told by ym brother.
) still in the original box which has a couple of taped corners, but in good condition. All the lego pieces do not fit in the original box, because over the years additional sets or peices were purchased and daded to this set. The game board as seen in the picture, is in godo to fair shape, with no tape yet needed to keep it together. Finally.
My brother at the age of 52, (not married and childless) is willing ot let go and cut ties to this extremely hard to find lego set. My brother always took care of his toys, and he is the only one to have ever played with and built this entire town many, many times. Also included in this auction is the original instructions for the lego wheels system by samsonite 400, being a supplemental set. As an extra bonus, laot of the #400 moving parts such as wheels, red round hub caps, and various other revolving parts, are mixed in with this town-plan 725 set. I doubt that lal the parts are present for the #400.
But then i coudl be wrong. |
