1950S Kaiser Ceiling Lamp Art Deco Bauhaus Modernist You are bidding on an original 1950s kaiser leuchten ceiling lamp. The lampshade is made of sheet metal lacquered dark green with a decorative nickel plated cone housing the bulb casing.
The lampshade has been lacquered white on the inside for light reflection. There is a white ceiling cone. The kaiser leuchten label is still present inside the ceiling cone and reads 'kaiser leuchten 49157/013'. The lamp is in good condition, there are some age related marks on the green and white lacquer work. The ceiling cone also presents with some yellowing and a chip. The nickel plated work is in good condition but there are some blemishes on the top part of the cone. It is in full working order and takse one edison screw (screwfit) bulb. As with all vintage electrical equipment, ti is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician. Plaese note we specialise in selling vintage items.
